Hire A Virtual Assistant For Your Business

When I first started my DIY blog, I was determined to do everything myself.  Of course, the Hubs would help with the larger DIY projects.  But as far as daily blogging administrative tasks, I wanted to handle it all.  Yep….a control freak!  That was me. Not a great attitude to have when you’re trying to grow a business. Hire a Virtual Assistant for your business and watch your business grow.

Being A Female Entrepreneur

As female entrepreneurs, we feel we must do all the things.  Our small business is our baby, and we are the only ones who can do things right.  Sound familiar?  Even though my husband would tell me to hire someone to help me, I was bound and determined to do it myself.  That attitude, my friend, I regret.  Why, you ask?  I missed out on so many opportunities for business growth.  Working seven days a week, being stressed all the time, and not implementing my business or revenue strategies.

Had I outsourced most of my repetitive daily tasks, it would have allowed for more time to concentrate on growing and promoting my business.  As a DIY blogger, duties were double that of a regular blogger.  I had to search for furniture pieces, pick up furniture pieces, and then flip the furniture piece.  Not to mention staging and photographing the piece of furniture once it was completed.  Then there was writing the blog post, formatting, adding images, checking for SEO and keywords, the list goes on and on.

Managing My Blog

I had no time to concentrate on other aspects of my business.  I would have had time to create the eBook I have always wanted to make.  Or develop tutorial videos to sell for even more monetization.  I kept pushing ideas to monetize my blog to the back burner because I was too involved in the day-by-day tasks.

Please take my advice.  When creating your business plan, please budget for a virtual assistant from the start if at all possible.  Even if you can afford only a few hours a week.  It will help your business grow, but most importantly, it will allow you to concentrate on the IMPORTANT aspects of your business, growth and monetization.
